  • All of our in-home organizing and moving services include:

    • a team of organizers
    • space planning & functional design
    • product sourcing, purchasing, and facilitating returns
    • donation drop-off
    • access to trusted resource partners

    As a done-for-you service provider, our job is to expedite the work holding you back from living your best life. Our process is set up to require minimal time and energy from you. Our team of organizers handles all the labor and details so you can focus on your life.

  • At TOA, we follow a 3-phase process.

    Your project timeline will be estimated after your consultation. Our projects typically follow these phases:

    Phase 1: Comprehensive Assessment

    Phase 2: Sort, Edit, + Design

    Phase 3: Contain, Label, + Review

  • The cost of services is determined based on the scope of the project. There are many variables that play into the project scope such as: the number of spaces, size of spaces, quantity of items to be addressed, and the level of detail required.

    During your consultation, we will discuss your needs and goals and recommend the best package to make the changes you desire. Clients who choose to work with us are investing in the quality of their daily life. It is a way to save money, reduce stress and clutter, and create time and space for the life you want to live.

  • As a luxury organizing service, we believe that the fine details make our offerings unique and desirable. At no additional charge, we go the extra mile to give our clients a sophisticated organizing experience.

    Some of “the polish” you may receive include footwear and handbags being shined up and stuffed, your jewelry/hats/handbags displayed for you to enjoy, drawer organizers secured in place, cabinet/drawer bumpers replaced, etc. We believe luxury is in the details. You’ll receive all the extras so you can fully love and appreciate your newly organized spaces.

  • The cost of project-related products is NOT included in your service estimate. We source and purchase all organizing products necessary to complete your project on your behalf. You will pay a product deposit before the start of your project and will be invoiced for the remaining balance after the project. All products will be billed at the retail price, there is no upcharge.

  • Clients will be invoiced before services. Payment is due in full before scheduling. Product deposit is also due before scheduling. Clients also have the option of breaking up larger projects into two payments. We accept payment by cash, check, Venmo, or credit card.

  • Our organizing sessions are approximately 5 hours long and are scheduled during daytime work hours. Moving services are scheduled and customized per project.

  • At TOA, we take a systematic approach to ensure you get customized results that suit your family and lifestyle. Our process is simple and effective so you know exactly what to expect when working with our team. During your initial discovery call, we will go over our process with you in detail so you know what to expect and when to expect it.

    DEFINE

    First, we’ll define your goals and expectations for the space. This is done through our in-home assessment before scheduling your services.

    EDIT

    Next, we will guide you through the editing process. We will help you determine whether items stay or go. We help eliminate decision fatigue by guiding you through this process. When editing is complete, our team handles the rest. We can even haul away your donations for you!

    DESIGN

    Ready for the magic? The next step is reimagining your spaces through a fresh, functional perspective. Gone are the days of chaos and disorder as we offer up new ideas and options for making the most of your spaces. During the design phase, we simplify, organize, and increase the functionality of each space in your home based on your needs.

    CONTAIN

    Keeping your personal goals and aesthetics in mind, our team sources and shops for quality organizing products for your project. Products and systems are implemented to bring structure, space, and order to the items in your home.

    MAINTAIN

    Our last task is to walk you through your new systems and discuss routines with you based on your newly organized spaces. We also discuss refresh services so that we can assist you in maintaining your organization long-term.

  • You do not need to be home or present for the entire process. Client involvement is only needed during the initial assessment of the space(s) and for editing decisions. The team at TOA can send you videos or photos virtually or leave editing decisions for you as guided homework between sessions. Our process allows you to hand over the work to our team reducing decision fatigue for you.

  • Not at all. It is essential for us to see your home AS IT IS to help identify any system barriers or flow issues, so please do not tidy up or make any changes before our time together. Remember, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. We understand, and our purpose is to help you (in a non-judgemental way) find solutions that work for you in your space.

  • We are not here to make you get rid of anything you don’t want to. During the editing process, TOA will guide you and help you determine if there are items that are no longer serving you. The final decision is always yours and we never discard anything without your permission.

    We cheer you on and support you every step of the way as you make decisions on whether to toss, donate, or recycle your unused items.

  • While working on your spaces, TOA provides light cleaning. This includes vacuuming and wiping down the spaces we are working on in your home. We do not believe in placing your newly organized items into dirty spaces. For deep or regular cleaning services, we are happy to provide referrals.

  • Our number one priority is creating systems that are beautiful, functional, and easy to maintain. Your organized home from The Organizing Advantage is customized to you with maintenance in mind. We offer our best tips and practices so that you can maintain your organized spaces long after our team has left. We also offer refresh packages for any organizational updates or seasonal support you need.
